6hunesseq [ɤhunes:eʔ], meaning ‘humidity’ in Võro, is a musical group that is mainly united by the curiosity of its members. The convergence of different sounds of church organ, the archaic talharpa, the violin, and vocal timbres yields a meditative yet powerful world which connects centuries-old tradition with the language of contemporary folk music.

Recording of 6hunesseq by Vincent Moon, made during the XXXI Viljandi Folk Music Festival in Estonia.
