The Baltic Sisters is an international folk music project that was born far from the shores of the Baltic Sea, at the end of 2022 at the world music expo WOMEX, in Lisbon, where singers from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania first met. It was the passion for sutartinės, ancient polyphonic songs from Lithuania, that initially brought the Baltic sisters together, but now their repertoire also includes Estonian and Latvian music.
